Kirsty works predominantly on the personal, on those things that move her. She is interested in capturing the human soul and the visualisation of emotion. Her work however, is not just about her own experiences, it is about all of ours. Kirsty looks out onto the world and expresses our feelings towards it. Kirsty's images reach out to people on a personal level, yet also unite in the shared acknowledgement of emotion.

Kirsty works mainly with still photography, but uses animation, film and text when the need arises.
